House Wulfhelm

Summary

House Wulfhelm is one of the three most powerful noble houses in the Crownlands (militant dominance). They won last year’s King’s Tourney and currently hold the title and deed to the Thornwood Vale. The other two dominant houses are House Godran (arcane power) and House Corwin (knowledge seekers). Source: 2026.05.05, 2026.06.11.

Lineage

The house descends from Beowyn, who was deeded lands by King Aldrich centuries ago. A very old Beowyn, fourth of his line, remains the great-grandfather of the household. His son Eodwin is the current salt-and-pepper knightly lord who rules the house, and Kardis Wulfhelm is likely Eodwin’s son. Source: 2026.05.05.

  • Aldrich once worked as a soldier or security for a vassal house beneath House Wulfhelm.
  • Cassian’s family house is a vassal of House Wulfhelm; this gave him enough credibility to negotiate lodging in the house’s noble camp section (Borehead Tour) for one night. Source: 2026.05.19.
  • Their prized tournament champion is Ser Calder Ross, a weaponless pugilist who fights with armored gauntlets. He won last year’s tournament for the house. The Masked Figure identified him as one of the major obstacles the party will face. Source: 2026.05.19.
